Pineapple Music specializes in providing families with quality in-home music lessons. Our teachers are excellent musicians and have a passion for teaching music. You can rest assured that students will receive a balanced music education and enjoy their learning in the process! Individual tastes, preferences and learning styles are carefully considered for each student as the teacher prepares their lessons. We provide a multitude of opportunities for every kind of learner and performer.

PIANO LESSONS:​

Each piano lesson is specially tailored for the individual student. Students will start playing at the first lesson! Piano skills are taught through a variety of mediums including lesson books, technique and theory exercises, games, composing and arranging, performance opportunities and use of technology. Our teachers plan each lesson to encourage the student to enjoy and be successful with the music they are learning. Piano students will have the opportunity to be involved in group lessons, festivals, recitals, area performances and monthly practice incentives!

Preschool Piano Lessons:

Our piano lessons for preschoolers (ages 3-5 years) are specially designed to be exciting, fun, and interactive! Each lesson includes beginning piano skills, special interactive rhymes, multiple learning games and special songs. Our WunderKeys curriculum combines beginning piano skills with a foundation in math which creates connections that facilitate mathematical understanding in the future and a love of the arts. Students will begin playing the piano at the VERY FIRST lesson! Piano lessons are scheduled weekly in 30 minute blocks and offered at a discounted tuition.

WHY SHOULD I ENROLL MY CHILD IN MUSIC LESSONS?

Music lessons ignite all areas of child development and help to develop skills for school readiness such as intellectual skills, social-emotional confidence, motor and language skills, overall literacy and encourages the body and mind to work together!

Adult Piano/Guitar Lessons:

Yes! We teach adult students! Whether you are just beginning or picking back up where you left off years ago, our teachers will tailor your piano/guitar lessons specifically to what you want to learn. We can teach you to play classical favorites, pop music or how to improvise! Ask about our reduced rate for adult lessons!

Guitar Lessons:

Each guitar lesson is specially tailored for the individual student. Students will start playing at the first lesson! Our instructors will be happy to help you choose the correct size and type of instrument, as well as give instruction on care and tuning. Guitar skills are taught through a variety of mediums including lesson books, technique and theory exercises, games, composing and arranging, performance opportunities and use of technology. Our teachers plan each lesson to help the student enjoy and be successful with the music they are learning. Guitar students will learn foundational skills as well as jazz, rock, pop and improvisation. Guitar students will have the opportunity to be involved in group lessons, ensemble playing, recitals, area performances and monthly practice incentives!

Music Production and Songwriting

Do you love to write songs but don’t know where to go next? Work with production expert and published song writer Jonathan Jackson to improve your skills! Jonathan has helped students of all ages hone their song writing skills and learn how to produce and arrange their own music. Special monthly packages are available. Classes are offered in-person or online.
